Habtom Andebrhan Tedla

He attended primary school at Addis Alem and later continued his education at Enda Mariam School. In 1975, he joined the Eritrean Liberation Front (ELF). In

1977, he traveled through Sudan and immigrated to the United States, settling in Dayton, Ohio.

In 1990, he married Mrs. Lydia Gebrekristos and began their life together. After living in Eritrea for four years starting in September 1995, he returned to Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1999, where he continued to lead his family life until his passing.

Habtom was the father of one child. After battling a long

illness at home, where he was primarily cared for by his wife, Lydia Gebrekristos, as well as his family and friends, he has passed away peacefully.

During his lifetime, Habtom shared warm and cherished memories with his family and friends—and especially with his wife, Lydia—thanks to his kind nature and generosity.

Those who knew Habtom, both family and friends, remember him as:

* A compassionate person who truly loved people.

* A loving family man and a brother who deeply respected his friends.

* A generous helper and the "heart" that brought warmth to his family and social circle.

* A man who deeply loved his people and his country.

Habtom always had a smile on his face. Generally, he was a soft-spoken, wise counselor and advisor who was never led by impulsive emotions. In short, he was the central pillar for his family and friends.

Habtom’s good deeds are too many to count. Therefore, he leaves behind an everlasting legacy in the memories of all his family and friends.

May God receive him at His right hand.

ኣቶ ሃብቶም ዓንደብርሃን ተድላ ኣብ ኣስመራ ገዛ ባንዳ ጥልያን ካብ ኣቡኡ ዓንደብርሃን ተድላን ኣዲኡ ለምለም ሓጎስን ብዕለት ሓምለ 12 1957 ተወሊዱ።

መባአታ ቤት ትምህቲ ኣብ ኣዲስ ኣለም ተማሂሩ፡ ድሕሪኡ ኣብ ቤት ትምህርቲ ቕድስቲ ማርያም ተማሂሩ። ኣብ 1975 ናብ ተሓኤ ተሰሊፉ፡፡

ኣብ 1977 ድማ ብሱዳን ጌሩ ናብ ደይትቶን ኦሃዮ ሑቡራት መንግስታት ኣሜሪካ ኣትዩ፡፡

ኣብ 1990 ምስ ወይዘሮ ሊድያ ገብረክርስቶስ ተመርዕዩ ሓዳሩ

ክመርሕ ጀሚሩ፡፡

ካብ መስከረም 1995 ኣብ ኤርትራ ንኣርባዕተ ዓመት ድሕሪ ምጽናሕ፡ ብ 1999 ናብ ሻርሎት ሰሜን ካሮላይና ኣሜሪካ ተመሊሱ ስጋብ ሕጂ ሓዳሩ ክመርሕ ጸኒሑ፡፡

ሃብቶም ኣቦ ሓደ ውሉድ ኮይኑ፡

ዝሓለፈ ሓያል ግዝያት ብሕማም ኣብ ገዝኡ ብቀንዱ ብበዓልቲ ቤቱ ሊድያ ገብረኽርስቶስን ብቤተሰቡን ፈተውቱን ክእለ ድሕሪ ምጽናሕ ብሰላም ዓሪፉ ኣሎ።

ሃብቶም ብሂወት ኣብ ዝጽንሓሉ ግዜ ምስ ስድርኡን ፈተውቱን ብፍሉይ ድማ ምስ በዓልቲ ቤቱ ሊድያ ገብረክርስቶስ

ሳላ ጥዑም ጠባዩን ለውሃቱን ማሙቅ ጥዑም ብጽቡቅ ዝዝከር ግዜ እዩ ሓሊፍዎ።

ሃብቶም ቤተሰቡን ፈተውቱን ዝፈልጥዎ

ርህሩህን ፈታዊ ሰብን እዩ ኔሩ።

ሃብቶም ፈቃር ቤተሰቡን ፈተውቱን ዘክብር ሓው እዩ፡፡

ሃብቶም ለጋስ ሓጋዚ ሰብ፡ መማሞቂ ስድራን ፈተውትን እዩ፡፡

ሃብቶም ፈታው ህዝቡን ሃገሩን እዩ ኔሩ።

ሃብቶም ፍሽክታ ካብ ገጹ ዘይፍለ፡ ብሓፈሻ ድማ ሃንደራእ ኢሉ ዘይዛረብን ለባም መካርን መዓድን፡ ብስሚዒት ዘይምራሕ፡ኮታ ዓንዲ ማእከል ስድርኡን ፈተውቱን እዩ ኔሩ።

ናይ ሃብቶም ሰናይ ተግባር ጸብጺብካ ኣይውዳእን እዩ።

ስለ ዝኮነ ድማ ኣብ ዝክሪ ኩሎም ቤተሰቡን ፈተውቱን ነባሪ ኮይኑ ይሓልፍ ኣሎ።
