Howard L. Weigel

Born August 2, 1957 in Lawton, OK, Howard was a graduate of Berkeley Heights High School and furthered his education at Monmouth College where he received a BS degree. He then began a thirty-five year career where he became an executive in the elevator sales and services business.

Howard was also dedicated to charity work with an emphasis on the Children’s Home Society of NC where he served on the Board of Directors.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Wissok Weigel; his parents, Don and Sue Weigel of Pawleys Isand, SC; and two sisters, Sally Weigel Brandl of Minneapolis, MN and Lori Weigel Whitson of Davidson, NC.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Edwina Weigel of St. Louis, MO and A.G. and Mary Lockhart of Manchester, OH.

Friends and family are invited to gather to remember Howard’s life between 3:00 and 5:00 Sunday afternoon at Harry & Bryant Co., 500 Providence Road.
