

She was born June 15, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY, where she enjoyed taking advantage of all that Manhattan had to offer. Mrs. Wolpin was passionate in her love of ballet, Broadway, and classical music. Having been accepted into a prestigious ballet school, she immersed herself in lessons. She then met the love of her life, Albert Wolpin, married and chose the path of devoted wife, mother and grandmother. After a long life of living in many cities, Mr. and Mrs. Wolpin chose to return to Charlotte, their favorite city, for retirement. She was dearly loved by Al for all 52 years of their marriage, until his death in 2001.
Mrs. Wolpin was a member of Temple Beth El.
Mrs. Wolpin is survived by a son, Larry Wolpin and his wife, Frances, and their children Aaron and Ross, of Harlingen, TX; two daughters, Susan Forgue and her husband, David, and their children, Andrew and Michael of Chelmsford, MA; Marjorie DuBroff and her husband, Don, and their children Erik and Trevor, of Charlotte, NC.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 14th from the graveside in Forest Lawn East Cemetery with Rabbi Judy Schindler officiating.
