Mrs. Kesler, 89, of Charlotte, passed away on February 13, 2010 after a brief illness.
She was born May 3, 1920 a daughter of the late Thomas Andrew Scroggs and Ora Lee Morgan Scroggs. Mrs. Kesler loved going to the beach, bowling and playing with the kids.
The family will greet friends Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM in the Chapel with The Reverend Earl Pennell officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park.
Mrs. Kesler is survived by her children: Marie Crump, David Kesler, Katherine Murphy (Brad) and Barbara Garrett (George); ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry B. Kesler.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church, 4622 Nations Crossing Road, Charlotte, NC 28217 or to the charity of your choice.
