Jeanette Whaley Short

A native of Horry County, South Carolina, Mrs. Short was born to the late Graham Whaley and Rachel Dawsey Whaley on November 4, 1934. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church. Mrs. Short is preceded in death by her husband Marvin L. Short, brother Jesse Manley Whaley and by step-daughter Freida Short.

Mrs. Short is survived by son Edward Manley (Laura), daughter Linda Manley Carter (Thomas), step-daughters Joyce Simpson (Baxter), Peggy Buss, Bobbie Sue Bratton (Rufus), siblings Sam Whaley (Jane), Patricia Floyd (Hermon), Theodora McDonald, Johnny Whaley (Harriet), Danny Whaley (Janet), Legrand Whaley (Sarah) and eight grandchildren.
