Jerry Allen McDaniel, 77, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away December 19, 2025 in his home. Born December 27, 1947 in Burke County, he was the son of the late Harold Lee and Rosa Lee (Jenkins) McDaniel. He was the husband of the late Janice Turner McDaniel.
A U.S. Army Veteran, Jerry retired from Howells Motor Freight Co. after numerous years of employment.
An avid fisherman, Jerry enjoyed NASCAR, wordsearch books and watching NCIS.
His survivors include his daughters, Robin Weant and Ashley Marie McDaniel; grandchildren, Sydney Brown and Allen Lee Bryant; sisters, Jane Scott and Patty McDaniel; brother, Dennis (Peggy) McDaniel; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Coats.
