Professionally, Joan was a meticulous bookkeeper, working primarily for insurance companies and attorneys. She also served part-time at the Fox Theatre and was a certified public notary, roles that highlighted her organizational skills and commitment to her community.
Beyond her professional life, Joan was a compassionate individual who always put the needs of others before her own. Her home was a sanctuary for animals in need, embodying her lifelong commitment to care and compassion. An avid reader, Joan had a particular fondness for history books. Her relaxation came from her love for walks on the beach and listening to the soothing sounds of ocean waves.
