John H. Barnard, 67, of Charlotte, NC passed away at home on December 25, 2018. He was born May 4, 1951 in Beckley, WV. He graduated and received an MBA from Virginia Tech. John was an avid golfer, tennis player and Hokie fan.
He was preceded in death by both parents William C. Barnard of Mt. Airy, NC and Frances J. (Bouldin) Barnard of Huntington, WV. John is survived by his wife Christine (Ayer) Barnard; daughters Kelly (Britton) Tabor, Jennifer Barnard, Kathleen Barnard (Tristan Blankley); grandsons Beckett and Noah Tabor; brothers William B. and Robert E. Barnard.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
