John Eichorn

As a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather, John was deeply rooted in his Catholic faith. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church and a graduate of Charlotte Catholic High School (Class of ’74), as well as Villanova University (Class of ’78). He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, sat on the MACS school board, and was a volunteer for Charlotte Catholic’s Athletic Association.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Kay, and their four children, John J. Eichorn II and his wife Chelsea, Betsy Eichorn Falls and her husband Matt, Robert D. Eichorn, and Benjamin K Eichorn, as well as by their three grandchildren, Madison Eichorn, Grant Eichorn and Garnett Falls. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings, Kathleen Williams, Pat (Andy) Harasim, Jane (Jack) Harrison, Lawrence (Mary Pat) Eichorn, Richard (Jonna) Eichorn, and Robert Eichorn, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday evening, December 19th, followed by visitation until 8:00 pm at Harry and Bryant Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 20th at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, with Reverend Frank O’Rourke, Celebrant. Interment will be private.
