Mr. Malloy, age 87, of Charlotte, died April 12, 2012. Born December 9, 1924 in Canton, OH, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Sarah Reid Malloy. Mr. Malloy served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
Memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Ida Mae; two sons, Ted and Jerry and his wife, Barbara of Myrtle Beach, SC; four grandchildren; six step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Malloy was preceded in death by two brothers, Malcolm, II and William; and a sister, Catherine Beach, all of the Canton, Ohio area.
