Judith Lynn Gebhardt

She was born on March 12,1968 to Joseph Leonidas Bell Sr. and Claudia Elizabeth Batson in Columbia, SC.

Judith Lynn Gebhardt graduated from Olympic High School in Charlotte, NC in 1986. Following graduation from Olympic High, Judith met the love of her life, soulmate and life long best friend, William Herman Gebhardt, with whom she had children and married on February 14, 2003.

She had a strong love for her children, grandkids and family. She was a devoted wife and mother and a hands-on grandmother. She loved Butterflies and the color purple and always kept her toes done. She also loved music; REO Speedwagon and Rick Springfield. And she also loved doing puzzles during her free time.

She was preceded in death by: Kyle Anthony Gebhardt (Son), John Batson (Step Father) and Harold Keith Gebhardt (Father-in-Law).

She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving and devoted husband, William Gebhardt of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Amanda Gebhardt of Charlotte, NC; a son Craig (Renee) Gebhardt of Anderson, SC; a son Drew Gebhardt of Charlotte, NC; a son-in-law, Joseph Gooding of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Olivia Gooding, Khloé Gooding and Jamir Gooding all of Charlotte, NC; a father, Joseph Bell Sr. of Charlotte, NC; a mother, Claudia Batson of Murfreesboro, TN; a step mother, Carlene Bell of Charlotte, NC; a mother-in-law Linda Bradshaw; three sisters, Helen Bell of Nashville,TN; Patricia (Kenny) Dunn of Murfreesboro,TN; Elizabeth Bell of Charlotte, NC; two brothers Joseph Jr. (Debra) Bell of Cary, NC; Luke Lumsden of Naples, Italy; a sister-in-law, Lisa (Charles) Roberts of Rock Hill, SC; four nieces Phoenix Bell of Cary, NC; Cecilia Dunn & Rosie Dunn both of Murfreesboro, TN; Kaiti Mozingo of Edgemoor, NC; five nephews, Cutter Bell of Seattle, WA; Elijah Dunn, Deacon Dunn, Theo Dunn & Remy Dunn all of Murfreesboro, TN.

A Celebration of Judy's life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home - Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210.
