K'Ri Cil

Born on August 10, 1952, in the lush landscapes of Vietnam, K'Ri's journey through life was marked by love, resilience, and a deep commitment to family and community.

K'Ri was the beloved daughter of the late Kon Krajan and Phet Cil. She carried forward their legacy of kindness and strength throughout her life. A devoted wife to her husband, Bo Dagout, K'Ri cherished every moment of their many years together, a union that was a testament to enduring love and partnership.

K'Ri was a nurturing and dedicated mother, survived by her children Retel Cil, Ansa Cil, Nghil Cil, Sru Cil, Ksuin Cil, Bruis Cil, and De Cil. She was predeceased by her dear daughter, Nghel Cil, whom she now joins in eternal rest.

Also left to mourn her passing are grandchildren Bol Cil, Beo Cil, Tensa Cil, Hannah Cil Moock, Brandon Cilmook, Benson Krajan, Bryan Nguyen, Tiffany Krajan, Vanessa Cil and Varsha Cil.

Her family was the cornerstone of her existence, and she found immense joy in the laughter and love of her ten grandchildren, with whom she shared countless cherished moments.

A faithful parishioner of St. Joseph Vietnamese Catholic Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, K'Ri was a beacon of faith and community spirit. Her gentle presence and warm smile were a source of comfort and inspiration to many within her church family.

K'Ri's love for life's simple pleasures was evident in her daily routines. She found joy in the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, the rhythm of morning walks, and the freedom of dance. Her passion for these activities was only surpassed by her love for her family, with whom she shared her time and heart.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate K'Ri's life and legacy on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 6-9pm at McEwen Funeral Service – Pineville Chapel located at 10500 Park Road in Charlotte. This will be a time for us to gather, reflect, and honor a woman whose life was a testament to love, kindness, and faith.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at St. Joseph Vietnamese Catholic Church, located at 4929 Sandy Porter Road, Charlotte, NC 28273.

Burial immediately following at Forest Lawn West Cemetery located at 4601 Freedom Drive in Charlotte.

K'Ri Cil's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy lives on through her family and the many lives she influenced with her warmth, grace, and unwavering love. As we bid farewell to K'Ri, we find solace in knowing she is at peace, embraced by the love of her son and the welcoming arms of the divine.
