

Larry Charles Beal Jr went home to be with Jesus his Savior on October 9th, 2025, at the age of 54 years old. Larry Jr was born to Larry and Charlene Beal on June 1, 1971, in Charlotte, NC. As a child, he was well behaved and eager to learn just about everything. He had a serious interest in carpentry from a very young age. He showed Momma how to build a doghouse, taking the hammer and nails and did a beautiful job at the age of 9. He became a father as he grew older, having a son Larry Charles Beal lll in 1988, a daughter Courtney in 1992 and daughter Taylor in 1997.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, Chuck also loved building things, working on his house, spending time with his family at family gatherings, and family beach vacations. Chuck had a very loving and giving heart, offering help to anyone that needed him in anyway. He loved to can pickles, making homemade candy, and shared those with the family and many other things he made. He was an avid gardener and shared his produce with family and friends. Throughout Chuck's entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which Chuck shared with those who surrounded him with family and friends. He used the Bible as a guide for his dietary needs and shared that with others. He was a great friend to many cousins in the family always having a smile to share or advice if needed. He was always there to help anyone who needed it, especially his parents. One of his dreams came true to becoming a Pawpaw having his first grandson Finneas on Sept 6, 2021, and Chuck flew to Oregon to celebrate his grandson’s birthday last month and that was a joy to his heart to be able to do that. He was currently employed by W.C. Jones Construction Inc who happens to be his sister's and brother-in-law's business.
He was a Field Superintendent, and he was a devoted employee.
Chuck joins his grandparents, Clarence Beal, Betty Beal, Kenneth Chester and Jewel Chester, and his first-born son Larry Charles Beal lll in Heaven. Chuck is survived by his parents Larry and Charlene Beal, two sisters Becky and her husband Bill and Leslie and her husband Jay, two daughters Taylor, Courtney, and her spouse Molly. A grandson Finneas, and a granddaughter Waverly. He had 2 nieces, 2 nephews and two great nieces and three great nephews. He had a loving friend of 7 years Candace Threatt whom he shared his life with.
The Beal family will greet friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM on Friday, the in the Chapel of McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel and Entombment in Forest Lawn West Mausoleum next to his beloved son.
