Mrs. Gross, age 87 of Charlotte, passed away Thursday November 28, 2013 at Agape Assisted Living of York SC. She was born July 5, 1926 in Buncombe County NC daughter of the late Clifford Wade Robinson and Elizabeth Mae Faucette Robinson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin George Gross and a daughter Sandra Elaine Gross. In her younger years she was employed by General Electric and Southern Bell. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday November 30, 2013 at Sharon Memorial Park. Mrs. Gross is survived by her daughter, Janet Baker and husband Mac of Suwanee, GA, her son Lonnnie Gross of Charlotte, her sister, Norma Farnsworth of Charlotte, grandchildren, Christie Griffee of Little Rock, Ark., Kyle Baker and Chase Baker of Atlanta.
