Lillie Martin, 103, of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully at Asbury Care Center on Tuesday, September 09, 2014. She was born in Lancaster County, SC a daughter of the late George Lee Norman and Aletha Carter Norman.
She retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 20 years of service.
Lillie is survived by two sons: Jerry Martin and wife Anne and William Martin and wife Joy as well as three grandchildren: Leslie Marshall and husband Don, Peter Martin and wife Mary Beth and Beth Magaldi and husband Philip.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years Carl Franklin Martin.
A graveside service officiated by Chaplain Karen Moore will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Sharon Memorial Park in The Garden of The Kingdom followed by a reception back at McEwen Funeral Service.
