Chant, Glenn and I just heard of Linda's death. We are so sorry. As many folks have said, Linda's smile and kind and gentle heart will always be remembered. We shared some great times together. Dear Chant,  Since I got the news of Linda's death on Sunday I have been thinking of all my memories of her and the times we spent together..which go back almost 30 years.  We worked together at Southern Travel when you all first moved to Charlotte and we were also close neighbors.  We became good friends..had alot in common (our love of animals and fast cars). We travelled some together...she and I were on a cruise together the night I got engaged and I asked her to be my bridesmaid.  I can't believe how fast time flys by...that was almost 27 years ago!  I think about her often and will surely miss her but hope we can stay in touch with you.  We will definately keep you and your family in our prayers.

Linda sat by meet through most of grade school and we carpooled through high school. I lost touch with her when she went to SIU and I went to SIUE.  I found her on facebook recently and was glad to see she had such a wonderful life. I am sitting here thinking of the many times we went to dances , the many slumber parties she held , the times she invited me to the club for swimming and dances.....she had such a big heart and great southern hospitality that followed her up north to Belleville. I am so sorry Alice. Linda, or Lynda as I knew her as a classmate was one in a million

The six years I have been acquainted with Linda, the contact with she and staff of the Mount Holly branch was always a positive experience. I am heart broken as I know you are too.  There are no words to tell you how sorry I am for you to have lost such a wonderful wife, daughter, sister and for me a dear, lifelong friend.  I have so many memories of us from third grade forward in Powder Mill Woods and Signal Hill and BTHS and then through college and through present day. She was so beautiful, inside and out. I can't find the words to express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I have so many warm and wonderful memories of times we all shared. Seeing the picture of Linda with the Muffaletta brought back such a rush of memories. I recall how the sandwich that was as big as she was just made her day. Those were great times. I worked with Linda on the 2nd floor at BB&T.  Her bright smile was the first thing I saw as I went to my office.  I loved sharing crazy dog stories with her.  She will be greatly missed!  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Linda my first job out of Travel School, I believe it was Southern Travel at that time. she taught me alot early on in my career. She was truly an amazing person, lived life to the fulliest. My thought and prayers go out to you and your family, as I am sure she will be missed.

It has been a long time since I have seen Linda but remember her fondly. I worked with her at both Southern Travel and Travel Unlimited.  She was the sister I didn't have here plus she was from St. Louis and I from Columbia MO.  That gave us something else in common.  She will be missed for her unending fun and spirit.

 I am so sad that I cannot be there to celebrate the life of my friend Linda. She will remain in my memory as the wonderful person she was. The memories of our friendship have brought me comfort these last few days. Even though we didn't see each other often, when we did, it was as if no time had passed.
