Tracy Smith Lynn, 52, of Charlotte, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 6, 2022. Born September 3, 1969 in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of Billy and Cathy (Pace) Smith. She married her High School Sweetheart, Curtis L. Lynn on April 21, 1990.
A graduate of West Mecklenburg High School, Class of 1987, Tracy went on to further her education at Belmont Abbey College, where earning her Associates Degree. She attended Calvary Baptist Church.
Tracy enjoyed going to the family beach house, spending time with family and friends, doing crafts, being pampered, and most of all helping others and being a “Lollie” to Chloe and Mason. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.
She started her teaching career at Paw Creek Elementary and then continued her career at Mountain Island Charter. Teaching children was her passion. She left Mountain Island Charter to join the family business, Budsandblooms, and spend more time with her grandchildren.
Tracy had an exuberant personality. She never met a stranger, was loved by many, and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Curtis Lynn; children, Kelsey (Peyton) Stewart and Zach (Samantha Danowski) Lynn; parents, Billy and Cathy Smith; sister, Lori (Chad) Keistler; brother, Bud Smith; grandchildren, Chloe and Mason Stewart; father and mother-in-law, Roy and Linda Lynn; along with a niece and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, devoted life-long friends, Ron and Gale Monteith and family.
Tracy is abundantly loved and will be missed forever.
The visitation will be held at 12:30p.m. until the time of service at the church. Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church, 2727 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road, Charlotte. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Condolences may be submitted at www.forestlawnwest.com.
