She was born on October 8th, 1969. A Charlotte native, she lived in the Queen City her whole life. She attended Spaugh Jr High and Harding High School, where she made many lifelong friends. Lisa’s heart held unconditional love for anyone that she knew. She made everyone who met her feel loved and valued. Her long time partner, Brian, was the love of her life. They did everything together.
Lisa was an avid collector of vintage 60’s, 70’s and 80’s collectables and proudly displayed them in her home. Her love for the holidays was always evident by her enthusiasm to decorate for all the special days on the calendar throughout the year. She also held a great love for her pets.
Lisa was preceded by the passing of her parents, Jim and Pat Sharpe and her son, TJ Thomas. She is survived by her long time partner and love, Brian Stroupe; brother, Lee Sharpe; and daughters, Amanda and Brianna.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at McEwen Funeral Service Inc., 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC, 28210, United States.
