Louise graduated from the University of Maryland with a BA in Sociology (Go Terrapins!). In 1955 she married Warren Max Brill and they had four children, Susan, Jessica, Monica, and Sam. Louise enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines, worked at AAA, volunteered in the Temple Beth El gift shop, and worked as a bookkeeper at International Construction Equipment in Stallings, NC for many years. After being widowed in 1981, she remarried several years later to Milton Rickles. They enjoyed travel and photography.
Louise loved her family and enjoyed social gatherings at restaurants, like celebrating a birthday at the Landmark Diner in Charlotte. She was full of life, had a great sense of humor, and loved to laugh with family and friends. Thanks to everyone for all of the prayers and well wishes during her decline in health. Thanks also to the staff of Senior Helpers of Charlotte, NC and the staff of Hospice & Palliative Care-Charlotte Region for all of your love and care of our mother/grandmother/great-grandmother.
Louise is survived by her brother, Mike Greenstein and his wife Harriet; daughters, Susan Brill-Mireles, Jessica Brill, and Monica Brill; son, Sam Brill and his wife Laureen; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
