Lucille Patterson Daumer

Mrs. Daumer, 103, of Charlotte, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy. She was born February 4, 1908 in Fort Mill, SC to Henry Dallas Patterson and Wylie Ross Hall Patterson.

Mrs. Daumer was a member of Amity Presbyterian Church; served as ruling elder; and was an honorary life member of Presbyterian Women. She was a friend to everyone she met, still delivering Friendship Trays at 100. She loved birds, flowers, and all kinds of animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl B. Daumer; five brothers; and four sisters. Mrs. Daumer is survived by a daughter, Caroline Butler and husband, Craig; many nieces and nephews; and many devoted neighbors and friends.

Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Amity Presbyterian Church Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. following the interment, at Amity Presbyterian Church with Pastor Betsy Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in Johnston Hall.

The family would like to thank the staff at Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy and Sardis Oaks Nursing Home for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Daumer.
