Mrs. Marianne Gannon, 85, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully at Charlotte Medical Center, Pineville on Friday, April 28, 2017. Marianne was born in 1932 in Germany. She was the daughter of the late Karl and Wladislava Jahn. Marianne met her late husband of 50 years, Joseph Gannon, in Mannheim, Germany, where they married. The newlyweds moved to New York, where Marianne obtained a degree from Nassau County Community College, and worked as a real-estate agent. Upon moving to Charlotte, she became a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church. Marianne was an avid gardener, seamstress, and wonderful homemaker. Marianne is survived by daughter; Renee Gannon; daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Albert Guarnieri; and her grandchildren, Marcus and Kendra Guarnieri.Burial and services will be private.
