Marilyn Phillips Trent

Marilyn was preceded in her passing by her husband of 30 years, Robert Newman Trent and sons, John and Ronald (Ronnie) Trent, all of Charlotte. She is survived by Mr. and Mrs. Bradley W. Trent and grandson, Christopher of Fishkill NY, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Trent and granddaughter, Tiffany of Indian Trail, Steven Trent of Matthews, brother, Bob Phillips of Peoria, Arizona and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marilyn will always be remembered for her generous and compassionate heart. Marilyn was a graduate of Peekskill High School in NY. She was a nurse for over 30 years until her retirement. Her care giving went well beyond just the hospitals. She was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church, including the Saint Monica Circle, and a member of the Eastern Star.

There will be a visitation from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, September 27th at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service. The funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Friday, September 28th at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1225 East Morehead Street, with Pastor Eric Miller officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road.
