Marjorie Hord Rapp, 89, of Lindale, Texas (formerly of Charlotte) died on February 9, 2015. She was born in Shelby, NC on November 9, 1925. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Zimmer Rapp. She is survived by her brother, Everett Hord of Shelby and her two sons: Jim and Carole Rapp of Lindale, TX and Mike and Patty Rapp of Colfax, NC. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be at visitation on February 14, 2015 at McEwen-Charlotte Chapel, 5716 Monroe Road from 1-2 P.M. A chapel service will follow at 2 P.M. with internment at Sharon Memorial Park.
