Ms. Jones, age 82, of Charlotte, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital - Main. Born September 15, 1930 in Honolulu, HI, she was the daughter of the late Nobori Nakagawa and Georgian Torres Nakagawa. Ms. Jones retired as a pharmacist technician of Eckerd Drugs.
The family will receive friends 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Friday, September 28th at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service. The service to celebrate Ms. Jones’ life will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.
Survivors include three children, Rick Leonhardt of Lincolnton and Martha Gyles and Arthur Jones, both of Charlotte; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Ms. Jones was preceded in death by a brother, James Nakagawa.
