

Charlotte – Martha, 94 died on Thursday, June 19th at her place of residence in Rock Hill. She was born in the Soviet Union on November 16, 1930. She met her husband, Albert Willard Neal when she was 18 years old and he moved her to the United States while he served in the United States Army. Together, they had two loving sons, Wayne and Dean Neal, all who have predeceased her.
Ms. Neal made an incredible and lasting legacy with her sewing abilities and attention to detail. Decades spanned across her sewing career and many relationships were formed through her incredible talents. Upon retirement from sewing, she could be found at her home at Brookdale Carriage Club playing Bridge with her friends on any given day. In addition, she would never miss an opportunity to both socialize and participate in happy hour. She lived for her family with deep love, laughter and fellowship never missing any time with her loved ones.
Ms. Neal is survived by her four grandchildren, Kayla Neal of Concord, Tiffany Neal of Charlotte, Carson Neal of Fort Mill and Kherington Neal of Fort Mill. She also was blessed with being a great-grandmother to Kaylee and Khiya.
Ms. Neal was a part of the Catholic faith and attended Saint Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Charlotte as often as she could.
The Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Neal will be graveside at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28th at Sharon Memorial Park.
