Mary F. Gotch

Mrs. Gotch, age 88, of Shelby, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at White Oak Manor. Born October 7, 1924 in Duquesne, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Fedorchak and Julia Kovaetz Fedorchak. Mrs. Gotch graduated from the UNC College of Dentistry. She was a dental assistant for many years. Mrs. Gotch last worked for Dr. Howard Charlebois in Pittsburg, PA. She enjoyed singing in the church choir for over forty years.

The service to celebrate the life of Mary Gotch will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Nativity of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church,1700 Mineral Springs Road, Charlotte, with Father William C. Mills, officiating. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM in Sunset Cemetery, Shelby.

Survivors include her husband, Nicholas Gotch, Jr.; children, Nicholas Gotch, III and Nadine Cook; a granddaughter, Christy Perry: and Christy’s mother, Elizabeth McCarthy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gotch was preceded in death by her two siblings, Michael and Irene.
