We send you our heartfelt condolences. We have very fond memories of Mary Lou. Being a St. Ann School family, we were very fortunate to have her in our lives twice. First in 1994 and then again in 1997. She loved teaching; and was dedicated, observant, kind, and patient. She gave our boys a solid foundation for success in their higher grades. She was also kind and helpful to us as parents. We will remember her with gratitude and respect. Rest in peace, Mrs. Marston. God bless you. 🩷

Please accept my most sincere condolences. As a former student of Mrs. Marston, I wanted to personally thank her and her family. I was one of her students and my memory is filled with wonderful experiences as her student. I have memories of reading inside her classroom, inside her homemade "giant inflatable plastic tarp bubble" that was covered in stars and participating in the Christmas pageant she hosted for our families. She promoted an environment where I could be creative and learn. I loved having her as a teacher, she really, truly made a difference in my life. I would not be who I am without her contributions to my childhood. Thankyou for everything.

I was lucky to be one of her 3rd graders at St Ann's. She was a remarkable teacher, who fed my love of reading from an early age. She made the classroom fun! Such a great teacher. So sorry for your loss. She is remembered with love.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mary Lou! I was her assistant at St. Ann’s from 1997-2001, and learned to appreciate her artistic talents. I will always remember the children’s Christmas play and how the students drew the scene on the chalkboard. She touched many students’ lives!

Ms Mary Lou was a fiesty lady. She would call me her sister from another mother. She had a lot of stories to tell and they were good stories too. She would often talk about her siblings, asking me why did God spare her. I told her that I  was the reason he did and she was the reason that he spared my life. I told her that God put people in your life for a reason. Going through cancer, when I was not with her she would call me just to see how I was feeling.  Oh she had times where she would get mad and raise her voice and I would politely say "now Ms Mary Lou, I'm not raising my voice at you please don't raise your voice at me", then she would calm down. She made it a point to tell me everyday that she loved me with a smile and I would respond with I love you more or I love you too. Now you are with your beloved Tom, I'm sure he has greeted you with open arms. Rest well Ms Mary Lou,  I love you and will miss you🌹❤️🙏🏾
