A native of Corpus Christi, TX, Mr. Davis was born to the late Theodore Davis and Mable Louise Simms Davis on August 1, 1955. He retired from Continental Tire after more than 20 years of service.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Karen M. Davis; by children, Roshan M. Davis of Charlotte, Tara L. Curry (Damion) of Charlotte, Michael R. Davis, Jr. (Whitney) of Clover, SC, Teron Davis (Jasmin) of Kentucky; siblings, Patricia L. Poage (Sammie) of Rock Hill, SC, Theodore Davis (Angela) of Rock Hill, SC, grandchildren, Zoey A’mya Davis, Annikah Danielle Davis and Ja'Niya S. Curry.
The funeral will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 5 at McEwen Derita Chapel, 6300 Mallard Creek Rd., Charlotte. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
