Michael Anthony Patton

Michael Patton, 51, of Charlotte, died on Friday, March 11, 2011 at his residence. His cherished memory will forever be remembered by his wife, son, sisters and other extended family and friends.

He was born on February 17, 1960 to the late William D. and Annette Abernathy Patton in Gaston County, NC. He attended Gaston High School and was formerly employed by Beam Electric in Charlotte. Michael’s hobbies’ included being an avid model airplane enthusiast which was his true passion. He loved his family, extended family and his cats.

Survivors include his wife Carla Wells Patton of Charlotte; one son Michael Anthony Patton Jr.; 2 sisters Bonnie Fox and Donna Vause both of Lincolnton, NC; mother in law Frances Wells of Charlotte; a brother in law James Christopher Wells and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11:00 am at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church, 7407 Steele Creek Rd., Charlotte, NC 28217 with Rev. Dr. W. Jeffrey Pinkston officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
