Monte Whidden Hicks

Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, November 1, 1956 to Fred and Barbara Hicks, Monte graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and remained a devoted Seminoles fan throughout his life. He was employed by Key Impact Sales and Systems Inc. as a Regional Business Development Manager.

Monte enjoyed spending time with his boys, playing golf, as well as coaching and watching baseball. Monte was an outdoor enthusiast who especially liked spending time in the North Carolina mountains. He had a deep love for his dogs as well.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving sons, Chris Hicks, Cory Hicks and his wife Katherine, his grandson Lucas, and his sister, Susan Hicks.

A memorial service will be held at Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday, April 8th at 3:00 p.m. with visitation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
