Murray Bodner

Charlotte – Mr. Bodner, 87, passed away on December 14, 2017. He was born on August 22, 1930 in the Bronx, NY, a son of the late Louis and Anna Levine Bodner; and beloved husband to his late wife of 63 years, Loretta Bodner.

Murray had been an Assistant Vice President of Financial Services with Bank of America prior to his retirement. He was Past President of Edgevern Jewish Center in Rockaway, NY. In Charlotte, he was a member of Temple Israel and Past President of the Men’s Club.

He is survived by his children, Paul Bodner of Dawsonville, GA, Lee Bodner and wife Polly of Daytona, FL, Ross Bodner and Sheryl Bodner, both of Charlotte; grandchildren, Chase, Joshua, Jessica, Michael, Adam and Jillian; sister, Barbara Choeff; and brother, Maurice Rothenberg.

The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, December 17, 2017 in the Chapel of Hebrew Cemetery, 1801 Statesville Ave., Charlotte, with Rabbi Murray Ezring officiating.
