Nancy Jean Renfro

Born in Spruce Pine, NC on November 16, 1945, she was one of five children born to Dimple Violet Crowder Gouge Fortner of Marion, NC and the late Calvin Lee Gouge.

Mrs. Renfro was a lab technician at Southern Asbestos for 33 years.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Harvey Renfro, whom she married August 10, 1963; three children, Harvey D. Renfro and his wife, Cheryl of Rockwell, NC, Curtis Renfro and his wife, Teresa of Charlotte, NC and Lisa Rippy and her husband, Bobby of Midland, NC, her siblings, Claude Gouge and his wife, Hazel of Marion, NC and Terry Lee Gouge and his wife, Grace of Troy, NC; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are planned for 12:00pm Monday, March 30, 2015 at McEwen Funeral Service-Derita Chapel, 6300 Mallard Creek Rd., Charlotte, NC. Visitation will be from 11am to 12pm Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Northlake Memorial Gardens, Alexanderana Rd., Huntersville, NC.
