Ron and Nancy Lee were everyone's hero and heroine in high school...I got to know them better in the 70s when they were in Florence...and really well in Charlotte when Ronnie and I had ferocious tennis matches and then Nancy Lee and Yvonne would join for dinner later. They were both such nice parts of my life.

My parents, Ken and Catherine Roberts, we’re dear friends with both Mr. and Mrs. Tuthill. I remember my first car came from Mr. and Mrs. Tuthill. I was grateful for their generosity when they sold that car to my parents. Later in years I remember meeting Mrs. Tuthill at lunch with my mom on a regular basis. Most recently her sweet granddaughter, Meredith, and my son Walker, went to and graduated from South Mecklenburg, where they became friends. I remember Mrs. Tuthill always made reference that the world was small and she was glad our babies met and were friends. She was a dear friend, grandmother and person. She will be missed.

We are so sad to hear of Nancy's passing. She was a joy in so many ways but most especially when she smiled and her eyes twinkled. She was a devoted member at Christ Lutheran and made a difference by serving on numerous committees. May she rest in peace. Mary and Wayne Clark
