

Born August 8, 1914 in Lincoln County, NC, Mrs. Lorick was a daughter of the late Claude Arthur Biggerstaff and Bessie Etta Parker Biggerstaff. She had been the President of South Eastern College of Beauty Culture and Senior Vice President of LaMarick Beauty System, as well as a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Lorick’s family includes her daughter, Suzanne C. Farabow (Dr. William S. Farabow) of High Point; her stepson, Forrest William Lorick, Jr. of Charlotte; as well as three grandsons, Wiliam Clinton Farabow (Stephanie), Preston Henry Farabow (Shannon), and the Reverend Dr. Matthew Sidney Farabow (Amanda).
Also surviving are nine great-grandchildren, William Webster Farabow, Gibson Stuart Farabow, Brooks Townsend Farabow, William Preston Farabow, Aidan Henry Farabow, Sydney Grace Farabow, John Thomas Farabow, Jordan Grace Farabow, and Kenton Scott Farabow; two step grandchildren, Allison Lorick Schilb and Forrest W. Lorick III; her sister, Margaret L. Whisnant (Howard); and two nieces, Constance M. Wyrick (Charles W.) and Patricia P. Washburn (Arthur).
Her husband, Forrest William Lorick, Sr., and a sister, Aileen Elizabeth Odom, preceded her in death.
A service to celebrate Mrs. Lorick’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3rd in the chapel of Harry & Bryant with her grandson, The Reverend Dr. Matthew S. Farabow, officiating. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. Private interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park.
