Neta Price

Neta Keziah Price CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Price, age 100, of Charlotte passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 15, 1912 in Union County, North Carolina the daughter of the late William McCullough Keziah and Effie Moser Keziah. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Louie Ezekiel Price; her only child, William Harrell Price, and granddaughter, Holly Price Fisher; three sisters, Emma Lee McNeely, Hallie K. Kelley and Bernice K. Rodgers; and a brother, Spurgeon Keziah. Neta worked for over 25 years as a sales associate for Belk Stores. Always a very outgoing person, she never met a stranger. She enjoyed talking with people and always had a story to tell. She was an excellent homemaker and cook and enjoyed sharing her treats with her neighbors and friends and was always ready to help anyone in need. Neta was the oldest living member of Derita Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Norma Braswell Price of Gastonia, NC; granddaughter, Sally J. Price and husband Robert Montgomery; sister, Lucille Keziah Pleasants of Middlesex, NC; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00PM Friday, October 19, 2012 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 19, 2012 in Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Reverend Tom Daigle officiating.
