Nettie is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Oscar; her son Jeff and his wife Dorothy; her sister Katherine Sherrill; her brother Tommy Roberts; her grandchildren Mark and Daniel Ellis; and her adopted son Bill Rhodes.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, June 12, 2015 at McEwen Funeral Services - Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210 where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pulmonary Hypertension Association, 801 Roeder Road, Suite 100, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
