Ollie was born to the late Edward Millsaps, Sr. and Pearlie Millsaps on October 27, 1925. She was one of 13 children.
Ollie was a founding member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. Ollie retired from UNCC in 1989. She enjoyed drawing and gardening.
Ollie is survived by her son Thomas (Donna) Steele of Moore, SC; grandchildren Paul Lane, Burton Steele, Thomas Steele, Jr., Jamie Lands, Deanna Lands and Heather Delgado; 12 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Ollie will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 beginning at 12pm at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2pm at Sharon Memorial Park.
