A visitation will be held Sunday, July 5th, from 3-5 p.m. at the McEwen-Pineville Chapel in Charlotte. His funeral mass will be held at 11a.m. on Monday, July 6th, at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Charlotte. Interment will be In Forest Lawn East Cemetery in Matthews, NC.
Patrick was born April 30, 1943, in Colon, Panama, to Martin and Nancy Flatley. He spent his childhood in Plainfield, New Jersey. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Niagara University, Patrick served 2 years in the United States Army. He attended St. Matthew Catholic Church and his interests included his faith, family and an avid enthusiasm for sports.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Alice; their three sons, Keith (Christy), Chris (Julie) and Eric; three grandchildren, Zoe, Chase and Regen; nephew, Bill; and members of the Waldron, DeBiase and Coldren families.
