Patricia A. Ryan

Patricia A. Ryan, 65, of Charlotte, died Monday, February 6, 2012, at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Pat was born August 10, 1946, the daughter of Thomas and Winifred (Lewis) Ryan in Detroit, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sheila Ryan.

Pat graduated from the University of Michigan. She worked for Belk Store Services until her retirement in 2001. Pat loved to volunteer and help anyone in need. Her selflessness could be seen when she would help with Friendship Trays, St. Vincent de Paul Society, a neighbor in need or any individual who came into her life. She will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her.

Pat is survived by her siblings, Mike Ryan, Jim Ryan, Cindy and husband Richard Farley, and Tom and wife April Ryan; aunts, Agnes Lewis and Billie Brown; nieces and nephews, Kenny Ryan, Tommy Ryan, Katie Ryan, Jack Ryan, Will Ryan, Patee and husband Matt Tomsic, and Matt Farley.
