Patrick B. Lasseter

Patrick Byron Lasseter, Age 53, of Charlotte, N.C., life partner of Eris (Eydie) Johnston, since 2008, passed away on February 20th, 2024 at his home after a battle with Renal Cell Carcinoma with family by his side.

Patrick was born on November 26th, 1970 in Fort Lauderdale FL to Byron Lasseter and Peggy Lasseter. He graduated and attended Florida State University. Patrick was employed by Compass Group/ Bank of America.

Patrick was a resident of Pineville, N.C. He married Eydie on July 25th, 2023. Patrick was a devoted husband and father who cherished time spent with family. He was a loving and attentive father to his son Aidan, sharing a love of sports and music. Patrick was a devoted life partner to Eydie for over fifteen years, supporting his family and creating cherished memories together. His work ethic as a Dining Room Captain for Compass Group was unmatched.

In addition to his wife, he is survived and will be dearly missed by: Aidan Lasseter, son; James Trevor Holtzclaw, bonus son; Byron Lasseter; father; Peggy Lasseter, mother; David Lasseter, brother; Sabrina Lasseter, sister-in-law; Janice Johnston, mother-in-law; Allison Johnston, sister-in-law; Van Oakley, brother-in-law; Chip Johnston, brother-in-law; Julie Johnston, sister-in-law.

The Lasseter family would like to express their deep gratitude to the staff of Oncology Specialists of Charlotte for their wonderful care, kindness and support during his battle with Renal Cell Carcinoma.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 29, 2024 in the McEwen Funeral Home Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210. Friends may greet the family prior to the Celebration of Life from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 29, 2024 in the 1st floor gathering room for refreshments.

Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society for further research for Renal Cell Carcinoma.
