

Mrs. Pool, 88, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April, 3, 2016. She was born in Harlingen, TX to the late Penta Helen Price and Frank Horace Price on February 13, 1928.
Penta was a graduate of Paschal High School in Fort Worth, TX. She attended college at Texas Women’s University and graduated with a Home Economics degree in 1948.
Penta married Fred Pool on December 17, 1949. She was the co-owner of Fred Pool Drilling Company in Roswell, NM for 40 years. She was active in politics in New Mexico and served as a delegate to the 1968 Republican National Convention. Before moving to Charlotte, she resided in Port Aransas, TX where she was a member of the Church of Christ.
Penta is survived by her daughters Pam Klee (John) of Port Aransas, TX, Penta Stanley (Bob) of Charlotte, NC and Patti Janes of Ft. Pierce, FL; a son Fred Franklin Pool, III (Susan) of Roswell, NM; grandchildren Piper Waddle (Darrin) of McKinney, TX, Paul Klee of Denver, CO, Penta M. Stanley of London, England, Audrey Stanley of Charlotte, NC, Jerrod Janes (Jessica) of Nashville, TN, Jade Taylor (Jordan) of Arlington, TX and one great-granddaughter Willa Grace Janes of Nashville, TN.
