My deepest condolences to Natalie, the kids and the entire family.  I met Peter and Natalie when I fiest moved to Charlotte.  We lived in the same apartment complex.  They were among the first set of Trinidadians I met in Charlotte.  We had some good times at the pool cooking out with the kids, we even did some partying  together, in those days. TRINI STYLE😀 Good times. Our last set of conversations, he would always  reach out to me for advice when he had travel questions.  I was very shocked and saddened by your passing. May our heavenly father comfort his loved ones during this time. R.I.P my friend.

Sending heartfelt condolences to Peter's family during this very difficult time.  Thinking about each of you and praying for peace and comfort in the coming days. I will always remember Peter for his quick wit and melodious laughter.

Peter and I grew up Over D Bridge...he on Quesnel Street,  and me, Moreno Street.
He traversed over to Morena Street to join me and other neighbour hood friends  to go for a swim in the river called " maling pen.

Peter was full of joy and very jovial...we eventually linked up online after
we had  discussied  the idea of forming an NGO.. but there was a lot of ground work to explore., that plan was incomplete.

We shared many interesting conversations on the phone  in regards to life back in our era and the  present.

My brother you will be missed dearly continue to fly mighty high.

Peter Steele was not only my neighbor but he was a trusted friend. We were neighbors for years. Peter was the true epitome of a man. He loved his family immensely. I've had the pleasure of seeing the children of Peter and Natalie grow up. Peter would beam with joy and happiness whenever we would talk about them. Peter was indeed an asset to our community.  He was always calm and always consistent. His presence will be missed but his legacy will continue to persist. I mourn his passing but I celebrate his life.

My condolences to Peter's wife Natalie and their children, his mom Queen Victoria as he would refer to her and his siblings. Thank you for sharing him with so many whom he crossed paths with in his time here on earth. He holds a special place in the hearts and minds of those that were fortunate to spend time with him. May his soul rest in peace.

This is Jill Greene a past student of NORTH EASTERN COLLEGE where  Peter attended for 1 year. I entered  in year 2 so I never physically met Peter  until our Class Reunion in 2023. For that brief period,  Peter's easy going manner and kind spirt left a long lasting warmth in my heart. I was his biggest fan of the short stories he wrote and shared with us. Thanks Peter for the role you played in bringing us back together. We will all miss you dearly ❤️
