Philip Richard Cagle

Phil was born September 16, 1947 in DeKalb, IL to his parents Warren and Mary Jane (Hiland) Cagle. He married Sharon (Wallis) Cagle in May 1967 and was a Vietnam veteran serving in the Air Force. He lived most of his life in the Chicagoland suburbs and owned his own consulting firm for a number of years. He and Sharon had recently moved to North Carolina to be closer to their daughters. He was a loving father to Stacey Sherrill (spouse Nick Sherrill) located in Waxhaw, NC and Kelly O'Donnell (spouse Scott O’Donnell) located in Holly Springs, NC and hard to replace “Fun” Grandpa to Zachary Sherrill, Nathan Sherrill, Jacob Sherrill and McKayla O’Donnell.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 in the Chapel of Harry & Bryant Funeral Home.
