Phyllis Ann Fowler Crump of Concord, NC died on March 2, 2019 at the age of 86. She was born in Mecklenburg County to Fred M. Fowler and Bessie Norris Fowler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Crump, Jr. and her siblings; Louise F. Tomberlin, Sarah M. Fowler and Fred M. Fowler, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters Carol C. Blake (Mike) and Linda C. Long. She is also survived by two grandchildren; Kevin M. Blake (Megan) and Kelsey A. Blake and two great grandsons Kingston Blake and Ryland Blake (due in May). Her surviving siblings are Marie F. McCormick, Betty F. Goodwin, Sylvia F. Graham and Joy F. Martin.
Phyllis was a graduate of Tarboro High School and went on to work for 32 years as a telephone operator for Southern Bell/BellSouth. She enjoyed time with her family and will be greatly missed.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 2pm with a visitation at 1pm. The services will be held at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park.
