Randy was born December 5th, 1946 to parents Paul N. and Ottie Roberts Connell of Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Ray Connell of Germany.
He is survived by wife, Sylvia Jamison Connell; son Johnny and wife, Cindy; daughter Lisa; grandsons Kasey and Colby Connell; sister Pamela Ward and husband, Phil; sister Denise Rufty and husband, Lee as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Randy retired from Time Warner after 33 years of service. He loved his family as well as good friends, Live Music, Braves baseball, Tarheel basketball, Sunday race day with his grandsons and #88.
Visitation will be held at 11 am at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park on Thursday, February 15, 2018 with a funeral service immediately following.
