Ray graduated from St. Anthony's High School in Manchester. He worked as an assembler for Huffy Service and also with Sears. He also worked as a manager for Citgo and a District Manager for Southland. He was a fourth degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife of 57 years, Georgette; his children Raymond Gelinas Jr., Charlotte Jordan, Rick Gelinas; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and two sisters. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10th at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 6828 Old Reid Road, Charlotte with a funeral mass following at 12:00 PM. Entombment will conclude at Sharon Memorial Park.
