Raymond Horn

Mr. Horn was born on February 20, 1926, in the Bronx in New York City, the son of Harry and Sarah Neidl Horn.

He served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Horn attended Pace University and Harvard Business School.

He was treasurer and later Chief Financial Officer of Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT, for thirty years.

In 1998 he moved to Charlotte, NC, where he was a member and past president of the Charlotte Retired Couples Club. He also enjoyed golf and was a member of several bridge and poker groups.

After the death of his first wife Rita in 1980, he married Marcia Searles McGuinness Horn in 1984. He was also predeceased by one sister and one brother.

There will be no services.

Besides his wife, Mr. Horn is survived by his daughter Hillary Horn and husband Richard Ferlauto, of Arlington, VA; two grandchildren, Max and Lucy as well as a son Mark Horn of Westport, CT. He is also survived by stepchildren, Edward McGuinness and wife Lisa, Milford, CT; Michael McGuinness and wife Peggy, San Diego, CA; and Mindy Rooney and husband Bob, of Charlotte, NC.

The family would like to thank the loving hospice caregivers, Katie and Jamie, also Dr. Sridhar Pal and nurses, Christie and Brooke, as well as Dr. Edward Knish and nurse, Janice.

The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Charlotte Region, 1420 E. 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
