Family and friends of Ray, we've been thinking of you and are so sorry for your loss.  Even when it's expected, there is a big empty space no one else can fill and it doesn't hurt any less.  Cathy, we only had the good fortune of meeting your Dad at your wedding.  He was in such good spirits, having so much fun, and you could see how much he loved his family.  Find comfort in one another and the wonderful memories you share.

Carolina Papa was a one of a kind man. He always had a word of advice to give me and i had some really nice conversations with him not long ago.He was never shy to tell his friends how wonderful he thought i was and i always thought it was really sweet. I will miss talking to him and hearing his advice. I love you papa !

Ray had just become my new father in law in June and we had become much closer over the last year. I really will miss having him over for dinner, talking to him, and trying to tone out his awful bridge stories. Ray gave me a wonderful gift and I will never forget his generosity, every time I look at my beautiful wife I will remember what he did for us.  Some day i hope I have the opportunity to pass that gift on to someone.  The last couple of months we had many great conversations and spent a lot of time together and I will truly miss him. I am so happy we had him at our wedding, and he got the chance to walk Cathy down the aisle for me, and that we had a wonderful Christmas this yr together.  He has left a very big role to fill for me and I just hope I can live up to his expectations and take care of his little girl. Ray-I love you and you will be truly missed by many people,especially those closest to you, which I hope I was included ! I hope you have found some peace now and you deserve every happiness, please know I got your little girl and granddaughter covered for life. RIP Bud. Your Son in Law Jason.

I met Ray only recently at the Bridge Center.  He was always so pleasant and a pleasure to play bridge with.  He will be missed.  My sympathy.

Ray was like a second father to me. He was one of the best friends and confidants I've ever had. We spent a lot of time together that I will always cherish and remember. I will never forget the stories and the laughter we shared. I will miss my friend so very much. May God hold you now Ray and may God comfort your family. I'll see you again one day buddy when I get home. I love you and miss you.

My Prayers go out to the family in loss of such a wonderful and loving man.  I think we were all blessed by his kindness, his love, and his words of wisdom.  I will personally miss his warm smile....   I am blessed to have had the opportunity to have met and loved such a wonderful man.

Dad was my best friend . He was so kind , sweet and loving . He loved spending time with his kids and grand kids . His favorite past time besides football was playing bridge . He always tried to talk to me about bridge and I never did know what he was talking about. I have so beautiful memories of my dad. He will forever be close in my heart. I will never stop missing him . I love you forever dad , rest in peace  .

Ray was a dear and close friend of ours for nearly 20 years.  He had a joy of life that was evident to all that had the privilege of knowing him.  I will miss his thunderous laugh, his companionship, and most of all his comaraderie.  He was a class gentleman who will be dearly missed.  RIP, Ray.

We are so sorry that the Charlotte bridge group lost a special friend.  With all that was going on in his life he was a bright light in the group.  We were blessed to have spent time with Ray on New Year's eve and he told us then how much the Charlotte Bridge association group meant to him.

I will miss talking to Ray and will always remember the friendship we've had since 1989.  The world is lessened by the loss of such an intelligent, funny and caring person.
