

Raymond Andrew White aged 71 of Charlotte, NC passed away on Monday January 12th, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. He was born on July 13th, 1954, and raised in the proud Lithuanian section of Waterbury, CT. He attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School, and Holy Cross High School class of 1972. He went on to attend St. Michael’s College in Winooski, VT, and graduated from Southern Connecticut State College.
Ray was a fan of all sports especially Golf, Baseball, and Basketball. He was an avid Yankee fan. As a young boy he competed and excelled in Duckpin bowling, and baseball. He was captain of the 1972 Holy Cross High basketball team that competed in the state championship.
He started his career with Anaconda metal hose in 1978. At Rubatex Corp he was a regional sales manager, and joined Gasket Materials Inc and became their national sales manager. In 1999 Ray started and built his own business as an independent manufacturing sales representative.
Ray treasured time spent with his daughter Sydney – sharing stories, watching favorite TV shows, and playing golf. He was a steady source of guidance, encouragement, and unconditional support, always there for her. Ray had an incredible sense of humor. He taught many that laughter was the best medicine. He had proudly achieved sobriety for more than 30 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Rosanne (Rubbo) White, his favorite daughter Sydney White, and her husband Jonas Morrow. He is also survived by his two sisters Virginia Maciokas of Ormond Beach, FL and Patricia Hamilton and her husband David Hamilton of Vero Beach, FL. He leaves many nieces, nephews, and their families.
He is predeceased by his mother Antoinette (Mockus) White and his father Edmund J. White.
Ray’s memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of Ray's life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 2pm at McEwen Funeral Service - Pineville Chapel located at 10500 Park Road in Charlotte. The family will greet friends starting at 1pm.
