Reba G. White

Reba G. White, 87, of Belmont, formerly of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024. Born in Deep Gap, NC, she was the daughter of the late Willie G. and Flossie (Watson) Greene. She was the wife of the late David A. White Sr.

A graduate of Appalachian High School, class of '55, Reba moved to Charlotte and started a career with Southern Bell, which lasted 38 years. She was a member of Pioneers, a volunteer network of Telecom employees.

In 1956 she married her sweetheart, David and they shared a life and two sons for 53 years.

She enjoyed ceramics, painting, sewing, woodworking crafts and traveling the U.S. on bus tours with friends.

Reba is survived by her son Darryl White.

In addition to her husband and parents, Reba was preceded in death by her son, David A. White Jr. and 11 siblings.

A visitation for Reba will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC.
